John Cornelius is one of the most creative magicians in the world and the first American to win a F.I.S.M. World Championship of Magic competition (First Place in Close-Up, 1979). In 1985 he decided to enter the card division and once again won first place. For that competition, he designed a very special act titled “Every Card Trick In The World In Under Ten minutes.”

You reveal a length of thread and give to the spectator to examine. You break it into multiple pieces. The pieces are shown separate, one-by-one, then rolled into a ball. Slowly, you pull the ends of the string to reveal that it has been fully, impossibly restored. The spectator can examine everything – and keep the restored thread as a souvenir.
For years magicians have been making signed cards appear in envelopes. Consignment has taken a giant leap forward with this effect! The ingenious gimmick means that the envelope can be out on the table before the card is even selected. This is definitely out of the box thinking.
Effect:
The magician introduces a small envelope that is left in full view on the table. Next, a card is selected and signed by the spectator. The card is then lost in the deck and the deck is slipped back into the box and placed in the magician’s pocket. The magician then draws attention to the envelope on the table. The envelope is opened and the signed card is found inside! It’s that direct!
