Ryu Ka is a wonderful close-up magician from Japan but he has teamed up with Korean company, ARCANA, to produce this exclusive download for us. This is a quick, visual, and fooling Oil and Water routine which is REALLY practical (and it uses no gimmicks!).
Phase One introduces a simple and deceptive move which makes the first sequence impossibly clean. The second phase is designed to leave the spectator with no direction to turn as the cards are mixed face-up, one by one, and then instantly separate.
A random Spectator puts on a headphone and plays his favourite song on youtube.
The Mentalist not only gets it right but also pulls a prediction with the name of the random spectator and the song he would play from inside his shoes.
No Assistant needed.
No Apps needed.
INDIRECT TRIUMPH is an amazing triumph especially if you know the classic effect.
The cards are shuffled face up and face down and all come back in order except for three indicator cards which will tell us the positions of the chosen cards.
All this with a normal deck of cards!
The only move required is the Zarrow Shuffle. It’s a very impactful effect for fellow Magicians as well.
You introduce a gift bag. Two spectators join you and look inside the bag to see one hundred folded papers.
You explain that on each you’ve written a different movie.
You tip some out the bag and encourage the spectators to unfold as many as they like to check they are all different.
You can help the spectators if you like, or you can stand well back to ensure you don’t do anything sneaky. It’s up to you.
