Max Intuition by Dani DaOrtiz (Force Project Chapter 5)

The What

A red deck and a blue deck of cards are borrowed and shuffled. The magician removes a prediction card from the red deck and places it in his pocket. The decks are then given out to two different

spectators. Both decks are taken under the table by the spectators. The spectator with the blue deck removes a card from his deck and gives it to the spectator with the red deck, who, with his deck still under the table, places it in the middle and shuffles the deck. The magician then takes back the red deck, shows the faces to a third spectator, and has them select any card they want. Impossibly, the card the spectator takes is the only blue one in the red deck. In a wild kicker ending, the card that was placed in the magician’s pocket from the very beginning is revealed, and it matches the stranger’s blue card discovered by the spectator.

The How

Once you’ve seen the trick, Dani will immediately teach you the basics of how the trick works so you can start practicing right away. The decks are genuinely borrowed and shuffled. There is a very minor setup that can be done in the moment, and of course, you get Dani’s brilliant techniques for doing your preparations under the audience’s nose.
