When Benjamin Earl tells us that he’s ready to publish his strongest card effect, we listen! In effect, a spectator freely names a card, they shuffle the deck multiple times and then find that card … and its three mates. Best of all, it happens in their hands, and apparently without the performer touching the deck!

Peter Turner – When In Rome (PDF)

Book is in ‘as new’ condition, completely fresh.
Here is the ad blurb from Peter Turner for this, the “Deluxe edition” of his latest book “When in Rome”:
“There will only ever be 200 copies of this edition ever released, anyone that knows me, knows when I say there will only be 200 released they know I mean it. There will never be a second run of the “Deluxe edition” and once they are gone, they are gone.
So what makes this book different to the regular edition of the notes? You will find extra effects, several added principles and more in-depth essays (things that are very, very devious) all neatly presented in a hardback book. The regular edition (not for release yet) will be paper back and not contain the additions.

GHOST CARD is a gimmick from the mind of Fraser Parker. It allows you to obtain a peek of information written or drawn on a playing card AFTER it has been shuffled and lost in the deck!

You will be able to show the bottom card of the deck to your spectators as proof that their thought-of card truly is locked away and hidden from view within the shuffled deck and, yet, you will always be able to obtain a clear peek of their written information.

Totally Awe-Sum Close-Up by Scott Creasey

Inspired by Greg Arce’s stage routine, ‘Awe-Sum Total,’ which in turn was inspired by Larry Becker’s ‘Sum Total.’ Scott has taken Greg’s original (with his permission) and adapted it for close-up table hopping without losing the impact of the original.

Five, five-digit numbers are displayed to the audience as a prediction. These numbers remain in full view throughout the routine and are not switched. The audience generates a random six-digit number in the hundreds of thousands, no forcing. The five prediction numbers are added together by an audience member using the calculator on his phone. The total matches the randomly generated number.

A modern and elegant touch on the classic Two Cards Transpo plot. The spectator’s signed card and your own favorite card are placed inside two separate black envelopes. Each envelope has a crystal clear window cut out so that the card can be seen at all times.

The envelope with the spectator’s card is placed on their palm. You hold onto the envelope containing your card. Then, the magic begins. You give a little tap to the spectator’s envelope with your envelope. Instantly and visually, the two signed cards have magically changed places while you and the spectator are still holding the envelopes in your hands!
