Do you dare to try it? An ACAAN that finally makes sense!
A thought of card…
A thought of number…
and most important, a routine that makes sense!
ACAANasta is an approach from Pablo Amira’s repertoire, inspired by the handlings and bold thinking from the master performer Chan Canasta.
So many times, there is no clear effect when performing the classic “Any Card at Any Number” (coincidence, prediction?), but with this routine, you will have a real working, audience tested routine that you and your audiences will love.
If you know Pablo Amira’s work, you know that he takes simple ideas and constructs a coherent choreography of moves so the effect is the desired one but without unneeded complications.
Both cards are numbered and are never said out loud (THE participant itself can do the counting!)
NO gimmicks
Simple and easy to do
Any shuffled deck in use (even an incomplete one)
Instant reset
Multiple variations are taught
“I’ve never really been interested in ACAAN, mostly because I thought it sounded like a magic trick. This is definitely not the case with Pablo’s ACAANasta… the method is very clever, but more importantly (to me) than that, is the premise of ‘mind reading’ rather than ‘prediction or coincidence’. The routine is choreographed to emphasize this and the language used in the script subtly reinforces the idea.”

“As good friend of Pablo and HUGE fan of Canasta I liked this idea. Is not 100% sure fire but if you change that “something” it will work all the time. The presentation is very good and with some modification I’m sure can fit everyone style.”
Luca Volpe
“Really, really good! It’s exactly what it says to be and sooo much fun to do! I was familiar with some of the elements that Pablo interweaved very artistically and am astonished by the outcome!”
